RTST – Transition Coupler
INSTALLATION:
1 – Peel and thread the end of the reinforcing bars using INCON’s threading machine.
2 – Screw the RTST Coupler by rotating it clockwise on the threads of one of the reinforcing bars.
3 – Align the second bar and screw it inside the coupler until the connection is completely secured.
CONFIGURATION:
RTST Coupler is composed of a steel tube, which has two different internal thread sizes that accommodate threaded bars of different diameters.
MAIN APPLICATION:
RTST Coupler is widely used for general construction applications where the rotation and axial movement of at least one bar is allowed.

Satisfies the requirements of Type 2 couplers for use with Grade 60 reinforcing bars.
Conforms to major building codes and standards including ACI 318, CSA A23.3, BS 8110 and DIN 1045.
